Abstract:The plane intersection is not only the intersection of various conflicts in urban traffic, but also the bottleneck of urban traffic. There is an upper limit to the traffic capacity of traditional plane intersection, which requires jumping out of the traditional optimization and improvement ideas and making changes in the design methods and forms of intersection. Based on the intersection conflict theory, the concept of displacement two-phase intersection is proposed by separating conflict and simplifying phase, and the basic classification and various forms of displacement two-phase T-intersection are explored by taking T-intersection as an example. The results show that, based on the number and position difference of the displacement of the collision point, the displacement-type two-phase T-intersection can be divided into 3 categories and 7 basic forms, including single-point displacement, two-point displacement and three-point displacement. The results can provide some references for the optimal design of plane intersection.
