With the continuous research on safety management, safety management maturity is becoming a way to evaluate and improve safety management systems. In order to understand the current research status of security management maturity, 412 articles are selected from WOS, and CiteSpace software is used to analyze the author network, research hot spots and trends. The research results show that: 1) The current research hot spots are combined with construction, information and network, and the research objects are mainly organization, company and developing country, and the research methods include building models, analytic hierarchy process, fuzzy logic and gray system; 2) The research field has spread from a single field to a multi-field, the research context has changed from maturity concept, preliminary framework to the construction of evaluation model, which is applied to practice, and the research object has ranged from organization and project to micro individual and macro national level.
