Abstract:In order to solve the irrigation problem of the green belt under viaducts, a new type of viaduct rainwater collection and utilization system is developed in combination with the sponge city renovation and upgrading construction project of Shuangling Road Viaduct in Linyi City. The system uses rainwater collection deck and plastic module reservoir to collect rainwater on the viaduct surface and irrigate the green belt under the bridge. The application results show that the system reduces the cost of municipal pipe network construction and urban road operation and maintenance, and has the advantages of simple operation, low cost and convenient maintenance, which is suitable for the current situation of the viaduct project in Linyi City, and has a promoting effect on the construction and development of the viaduct road rainwater collection system in Linyi City, and has a promoting effect on the sustainable development of urban sponge city road construction. The results can provide some reference for the research and practice of road sponge city construction and rainwater collection and utilization in other cities in China.
