Abstract:In order to study the reinforcing effect of steel strand mesh polymer mortar reinforcement technology, the flexural test study of RC beams reinforced with steel strand mesh polymer mortar is carried out. Through the design and comparison of specimens, the concrete strain, flexural capacity, mid-span deflection and crack development of the RC beams are analyzed. The results show that: 1) The reinforced RC beams still conform to the assumption of flat cross-section, and the mechanical properties such as flexural capacity, stiffness, and crack state have been improved to varying degrees; 2) As a means of reinforcing concrete flexural components, the steel strand mesh polymer mortar reinforcement method has certain applicability. The results can provide a certain basis for the reinforcing design of concrete flexural components.
