The landscape greening design of community streets is an important way to improve the quality of urban space. In order to explore the design and method of improving the quality of urban community streets in the new era, the urban quality improvement design street greening project positioning of East Canal Road, Liaocheng city is taken as an example; the overall urban planning positioning of East Canal Road, Liaocheng city is interpreted; the landscape space characteristics of community streets is deeply analyzed; the functional division, landscape layout, transportation facilities and humanistic connotation of community streets are sorted out; the design concept of "one street and one scene, one street and one culture, one street and one feeling" are focused on; the five new transformation thinking, such as transportation, technology, function, boundary, and landscape are adopted; three types of control elements such as urban community street network, space and landscape are effectively coordinated and integrated; through the specific means of "overall positioning, one street and one scene", the design is carried out from four aspects: road space, landscape style, urban furniture, and other technical restoration, so as to provide references for similar projects in the future.
