Abstract:As the concept of digital factory is getting more and more attention, the timeliness and accuracy of the creation of 3D models of metallurgical industrial plants have become the focus of attention. Starting from the actual engineering, this paper introduces the concept of parametric design into the three-dimensional design of metallurgical industrial plants, and through the secondary development of Bentley ProStructures software, the complex structural forms in metallurgical industrial plants are classified into parametric modules according to structural characteristics, and the modules are built into 3D modeling software. Research has shown that parametric modeling tools can achieve one-click generation and one-click modification of complex models in the process of three-dimensional model creation, reduce the difficulty of model creation and improve work efficiency. The results can provide a technical reference for the further research and application of parametric design methods in the metallurgical industry.
