Abstract:BIM technology is gradually being applied to project management in construction enterprises, but the application conditions of different construction projects are different, and the impact on project management is also different. In order to understand the impact of BIM technology on different construction project management fields, a solution to the problem that BIM technology has insufficient influence and insignificant application effect in some fields is proposed, the impact of BIM technology on construction project management is investigated and analyzed by establishing a structural equation model. The results show that BIM technology has a positive impact on the schedule management and cost management of construction enterprises, has a slight positive impact on quality management, and has an inconspicuously positive impact on other aspects. In schedule management, the use of BIM technology can speed up the preparation of construction schedules and make plans more realistic; In cost management, BIM technology can accurately predict costs in the design stage, accurately count costs in the completion and acceptance stages, and reduce labor costs. In quality management, collision checks can be carried out in advance. The results can provide an important reference for construction enterprises to comprehensively evaluate and optimize the application of BIM technology in project management.
