Abstract:The flotation tailings metal minerals of a copper mine in Hubei Province are mainly limonite, magnetite, pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite, of which the main valuable components are copper and tungsten, which occur in chalcopyrite and schelite, respectively. However, due to its low content and close intercalation with gangue minerals, it is difficult to recover. In order to realize the recovery of copper and tungsten in the tailings, the process of "copper priority flotation-flotation tailings tungsten separation" is used to conduct a comprehensive recovery experiment research. Copper recycling adopts the flotation process of "two coarse, three fine and two sweeping", and tungsten recycling adopts the process of "carpet chute pre-enrichment-flotation separation-shaker selection". The test results show that copper concentrate with a Cu grade of 8.12% and a recovery rate of 21.46% , and a tungsten concentrate with a WO3? grade of 19.36% and a recovery rate of 21.43% are obtained under the condition of Cu grade of 0.14% and WO3? grade of 0.06% . The results can provide references for the efficient and comprehensive utilization of similar tailings mineral resources.
