Abstract:Due to the increasing urbanization level, high groundwater levels, and layered geology with soft top and hard bottom conditions in deep foundation engineering projects, there are more deep foundation engineering projects, which impose stricter requirements on the construction of deep foundations. Taking the deep foundation engineering of a certain metro station in Qingdao as a case study, this paper proposes the use of piles and internal bracing as the deep reinforcement structure for deep foundation engineering under high groundwater and soft upper- hard lower strata conditions, and the TRD walls as the drainage curtain. Based on numerical analysis methods, the overall safety of the foundation and its impact on the surrounding environment are analyzed. The results indicate that the deep horizontal displacement and vertical displacement of the soil around the foundation are both less than the warning value, and the internal forces and axial forces of the piles and internal bracing are within the design standard. This indicates that the overall safety of the foundation and its impact on the surrounding environment are within the safe range. The reasonable and reliable design of the reinforcement scheme and its parameters is verified by comparing the deep horizontal displacements of the piles, inter-soil layer, and TRD walls. It was found that the inter-soil layer had the largest horizontal displacement in the deep region, and attention should be paid to the stability of the inter-soil layer in subsequent construction. The research results can provide references for subsequent deep foundation engineering design and construction under high groundwater conditions and layered geology with soft top and hard bottom layers.
