Abstract:As the construction of new urbanization gradually matures, the development trend of the construction industry is shifting from rapid growth to high-quality development. The traditional construction management model urgently needs transformation to adapt to this evolution. To enhance engineering construction management, the integration of digital technology and engineering construction has become crucial. Taking a mining construction project as an example, this paper explores and studies the development of smart construction sites. By incorporating innovative applications of information technology in construction management and centering on a smart cloud platform, a network architecture consisting of the smart cloud platform, transmission network, and smart construction site subsystems is established. This enables comprehensive, real-time, and whole-process control of the construction project. A comparative analysis with traditional management models is conducted in terms of safety, quality, and efficiency. The research demonstrates that the management model of smart construction sites, particularly the innovative application of real-name personnel management and smart safety in engineering construction, significantly improves the efficiency and safety of project management. The findings are expected to provide insights and references for future innovations in engineering construction management.
