Abstract:The research focuses on the comprehensive recovery and utilization of a copper mine tailings, aiming to realize the comprehensive recovery of copper resources in tailings, reduce solid waste emissions and environmental pollution, and provide technical reference for the resource utilization of low-grade tailings. Based on the systematic analysis of ore properties, this paper focuses on the optimization test of flotation process and reagent system. The results of ore property analysis show that the metal minerals in the tailings are mainly pyrite, chalcopyrite, limonite, chalcocyanite and bornite, and the copper content of the ore is 0.25%. Chalcopyrite is the main recovery target mineral of the ore, and the copper is in the form of copper sulfide and copper oxide, of which copper sulfide minerals and copper oxide minerals account for 74% and 26% respectively, and the ore copper content is low, and the chalcopyrite embedding particle size is fine and the dissociation degree is poor. On the basis of the study of ore properties, the flotation process of "chalcopyrite preferential flotation-copper oxide sulfide flotation" was used to recover the copper minerals in the tailings. The test results show that under the condition of 0.25% Cu grade of the ore, the copper concentrate with a Cu grade of 20.34% and a Cu recovery rate of 25.26% was obtained under the process of "two coarse, three fine and two sweeps" with Z-200 as the collector and sodium sulfide as the sulfiding agent. The recycling of copper from tailings has been realized.
