Abstract:The ecological restoration benefits of mines are an important way to predict and verify the effectiveness of restoration. They can provide reliable decision-making support and effective supervision basis for government scientific decision-making, social capital participation in restoration and governance, and restoration engineering practice. In order to explore the research hotspots and development trends of the ecological restoration benefits of mines, this paper takes the WOS database and CNKI database as the literature sources, and uses bibliometrics and Citespace software to conduct literature analysis from the perspectives of the number of published papers, discipline distribution, and research hotspots, to interpret the research focuses at home and abroad, summarize the existing problems in the research on the ecological restoration benefits of mines, and predict and analyze the future research directions and trends. The research shows that the number of published papers on the ecological restoration benefits of mines is increasing. Among them, ecological restoration, environmental protection, restoration, and mine ecology are high-frequency research keywords. Environmental science and engineering, mining engineering, and ecology are the main disciplines. Ecological restoration, mine restoration, abandoned mines, and circular economy are the current research hotspots. The research on the ecological restoration of mines at home and abroad mainly focuses on the restoration of ecological functions and the analysis of ecological, economic, social and comprehensive benefits. The evaluation of the ecological restoration benefits of mines mainly focuses on ecological benefit, economic benefit, social benefit and comprehensive benefit analysis. Economic benefits and ecological benefits are mostly based on quantitative indicators, while social benefits are mostly based on qualitative indicators. The current research still has problems such as the lack of an authoritative evaluation system and dynamic analysis mechanism, the lack of unified evaluation standards, and the low popularity and usage rate of some calculation models and evaluation methods. The necessity of future research on the ecological restoration benefits of mines is becoming increasingly prominent. It is necessary to accelerate the research and construction of a multi-dimensional comprehensive evaluation system for the ecological restoration benefits of mines, explore the implementation of a third-party institution evaluation model, and introduce the support of digital and intelligent technologies such as satellite remote sensing, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, big data, and AI in a timely manner to help make the analysis of the ecological restoration benefits of mines more systematic, efficient and accurate.
