Abstract:In order to quantitatively characterize that impact resistance and qualitatively describe the failure modes of foam concrete composite wall panel (FCPW), this paper studies the impact resistance of FCPW made of extruded polystyrene board, steel mesh and foam concrete with glass fiber on both sides by drop hammer impact test, and verifies the impact resistance of FCPW with carbon fiber sheet (CFS) one layer, two layers and unreinforced FCPW by finite element simulation. The ductility and bearing capacity of the specimens strengthened with single or double layer CFS are improved, and the results of single layer CFS are better than those of double layer CFS. The experimental results are generally consistent with the simulation results, providing a reference for researchers to update composite wall panels.
