Abstract:In order to solve the problem of mismatch between the material environment and the psychological needs of residents in the renovation of old communities, and promote the deepening of the transformation to the goal of “good community”, based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, a three-dimensional evaluation system of residents’ survival, belonging and growth is constructed. The AHP weight is optimized by introducing expert judgment weights, and a comprehensive evaluation model is constructed by combining fuzzy comprehensive evaluation FCE, and the model is verified by the renovation of five old communities in Yantai city. The results indicate that the overall performance after the renovation is mediocre. The optimized weights fit the characteristics of group decision-making, and the FCE evaluation results are more robust and reliable compared to traditional methods. It is further revealed that the renovation needs to focus on improving the level of public facilities and open space safety management, optimizing the quality of green landscape, and environment, and strengthening the creation of cultural atmosphere and residents’ participation. The results can provide methodological references and decision-making insights for enhancing the effectiveness of “good community” construction.
