Abstract:Accurate and efficient earthwork calculation is crucial for engineering cost control, schedule management, and resource allocation. The introduction of Tolerance AI technology into the field of earthwork calculation represents a significant innovation over traditional methods. Leveraging its powerful capabilities in data processing, intelligent analysis, and automated execution, Tolerance AI technology can rapidly and precisely process massive terrain data, achieving automation and intelligence in earthwork calculation. This research focuses on Tolerance Analysis AI and Tolerance Automation AI technologies, combined with the tetrahedralization modeling method, to validate their performance in terms of calculation accuracy and computational efficiency. Case studies demonstrate that the integration of Tolerance AI technology with tetrahedral 3D modeling increases computational efficiency by 7 to 8 times while controlling the calculation error rate to within 1%, providing new research insights and solutions for earthwork calculations.
