Abstract:With the acceleration of globalization and the continuous development of smart construction technologies,large-scale engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC)enterprises are facing an urgent need for transformation and upgrading. To systematically and efficiently advance their smart construction transformation,it is crucial to identify and analyze the key driving factors in depth. This paper identifies 26 driving factors through literature analysis and expert interviews, and employs the DEMATEL-ISM-MICMAC model to analyze the internal influence relationships, hierarchical structures, and dependency roles among these factors. The results indicate that the key driving factors for the smart construction transformation of large-scale EPC enterprises include the strength of government policy support for smart construction, the intensity of client demand for smart technologies, the availability of financial capital support, the investment intensity in smart construction innovation talent by large-scale EPC enterprises, government special fund subsidies, the completeness of strategic planning for smart construction transformation in large-scale EPC enterprises, and the reserve of interdisciplinary innovative talent in smart construction.Based on these findings, corresponding strategies are proposed to provide a theoretical foundation and decision-making reference for enterprises to efficiently conduct their smart construction transformation.
