Abstract:With the continuous increase in the depth of mining in high-gas mines, gas disasters have become a major obstacle that hinders safe production in these mines. Traditional gas control technologies generally suffer from problems such as unclear mechanisms of overburden fracture development, insufficient accuracy in identifying gas migration pathways, and low control efficiency. To this end, a combination of theoretical analysis, similar simulation, and numerical simulation methods is adopted to systematically illustrate the spatiotemporal evolution patterns of rock fracture caused by mining activities. It also explains the mechanism of gas migration under the multi-field coupling effect of stress, damage, and seepage. Based on this, a precise gas control technology system is developed, which incorporates "precise channel identification, needle-guided control, intelligent extraction, and iterative evaluation". The results of engineering applications show that this technology can increase gas extraction efficiency by 42.1%, and the effective utilization rate of drilling holes reaches 97%. This effectively addresses the challenges related to gas management in coal seams with high gas content and low permeability. The results can provide theoretical and technical support for the safe and efficient mining of high-gas mines.
